"....being in the presence of the Divine Creator would be total
bliss … to me, an eternal orgasmic state."

WORSHIP
By Shirley Swift

Worship, the word derived from the term “workship” is not required by the
Divine Creator. Workship was enforced, according to Sitchin* by the
genetic engineers of the human race. Whether or not you believe that,
worship, as we know it, is totally voluntary and often spontaneous.

My opinion is that the highest form of worship is sacrifice. Not death of the
body – but spiritually dying to one’s ego and living in the manner to
maintain connection with one’s object of worship; totally giving of one’s
essence to the universe, to one’s higher power. We are never separated
from our higher power, however, the Divine Presence is felt more deeply
when seeking that connection and believing in the possibility.

Is not orgasm a total dying to one’s conscious self on this earth plane? For
that split second in time nothing else in the universe matters. Orgasm is
also characterized as bliss or ecstasy.

The question of worship all started when I heard a discussion on what
transpires after life on earth … what does one experience? I’d heard that
eternity would be spent in worship. My thoughts were that being in the
presence of the Divine Creator would be total bliss … to me, an eternal
orgasmic state. Yes, that would be “heaven.” I know it is a feeling of “hell” to
attempt having an orgasm and failing. Yes, “hell” is an absence of the
Divine. What can be more blissful than that moment of orgasm? Eternal
orgasm. Eternal high. Eternal Presence. During the time period leading up
to orgasm, release, and orgasmic bliss that follows we connect with the
Divine Creator in a different intensity.

To reach one’s higher power many methods have been employed over the
ages. To reach nirvana**, to obtain total bliss or ecstasy to have a spiritual
oneness with the higher power has been the goal since the beginning of
time; meditation is one such vehicle. I offer that orgasm is a vital part of that
intention.

Medibation*** is a phrase that has been around for a long time. I
understand this to be a meditative masturbation that carries a person both
spiritually and physically to their higher power. Meditation and prayer help
us calm the chatter in our minds that drown out and clouds up our
consciousness which otherwise would be aware of the connection. ****

Where one or more are gathered in my name, I am there also -- the
Bible’s paraphrased confirmation that two or more gathered to obtain
oneness is graced by the presence of the Divine. Isn’t the act of sex
between people an attempt for mutual orgasm – for mutual oneness with
God? For argument’s sake, is it common for more than two people to seek
ecstasy together … group orgasms? Perhaps in some circles people can
worship together this way. It is more common to hear of the bacchanal
orgies that have a totally different purpose. It all boils down to intention.

If practiced in a group that meditates together and experiences sex
together, the orgasmic energy being sent into the earth plane and further
into the universe with their collective consciousness would enhance
whatever cause is agreed upon – a healing, problem solving, worshipful
joy, etc. All has been “outlawed” as sin and people have lost their
awareness of being free and pure before the Creator – ashamed of their
nakedness. Ashamed of self-love. Ashamed of talking about orgasmic
release. Ashamed of the possibilities of a higher connection with the Divine
Creator in a state of orgasmic bliss.

When one masturbates they are not alone – they are present with their
higher power. Masturbation is effective to reach that moment in time where
one is united totally with their higher power. To be in communion with their
higher power and mentally send the orgasmic energy into the universe is a
connection with God on a higher plane and consequentially a link with all
beings.

“Sending orgasmic energy into the universe” is accomplished at the
moment of orgasm by making a conscious effort to move orgasmic energy
through one’s body. The energy washes over each chakra to renew and
repair spiritually. Medibation has the same results as tantric energy
coursing through one’s body … originating at the base chakra and the
sexual center and moving upwards to the crown chakra along the spine.
From the crown chakra the energy is sent out into the etheric body that
dwells in the universe, uniting itself with the universe. Both Tantra and
Medibation can be used for the same conscious effort to send positive,
healing orgasmic energy into the universe; much the same way circles
move outward as a pebble is thrown into a pond.

Does that mean that all orgasms are sacred and have the ability to
connect at a deeper level with the Divine Creator? I offer that they are a
solid beginning. I offer that orgasmic bliss can last longer than just the
moment. And it is in that time of altered awareness that one grows and
learns to worship freely.

* Zecharia Sitchin, The 12th Planet - "Worship" was originally "workship" which meant working
for superiors or the gods, genetic engineers of the human race. That term was glorified into
"worship" by the Church to make it more palatable.

** Nirvana (Sanskrit) The Buddha described Nirvana as the perfect peace of the state of mind
that is free from craving, anger and other afflictive states. The subject is at peace with the world,
has compassion for all and gives up obsessions and fixations.

*** Medibation - When you masturbate, do you sometimes feel like you are entering a spiritual
state? Does your head ever get totally peaceful, or thoughts just flow through you like water? If
so, you may already be practicing what I call “Medibation,” a combination of masturbation and
meditation.  Annie Sprinkle, Ph.D.
